What we do
Switchboards and safety switches
Old fuse boards out, safety switches in, so the circuits you use every day are protected. If your board can stay, we'll tell you.
Lighting and downlights
Downlights, pendants, dimmers and outdoor lights, placed for how you use each room.
Power points
Extra and double power points where you need them, including in a kitchen island. Old ones swapped for modern ones, with USB charging built in if you want it.
Rewiring
Old wiring in the roof and walls replaced. You see the quote, in writing, before we open anything up.
Smoke alarms
Smoke alarms fitted, tested and replaced when they reach the end of their life.
Ceiling and exhaust fans
Ceiling fans for bedrooms, living rooms and covered patios. Exhaust fans for bathrooms and laundries, ducted outside so the damp air leaves the house. Damp under the floor too? See sub-floor ventilation.
Fault finding
Lights that flicker, a safety switch that keeps tripping, a power point that has stopped. We find the cause and quote the fix.
EV chargers
Any brand, Tesla Wall Connector included. See EV charger installation
Surge protection
Surge protection at the switchboard, to help protect TVs, computers and appliances from power spikes.
Air conditioning
We do the electrical for your new air conditioner, and a specialist we trust does the install.
Smart switches
We're Pixie approved installers, so lights and power can run from your phone.

When the work has to be certified, you get the certificate.
For electrical work that NSW requires to be certified, we issue a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) once the job is done and tested.
Your compliance certificate arrives without you asking.
From our reviews
Old house with irregular electrical updates/maintenance. Inspire Electrical Services gave a full assessment of the required works, gave me options to achieve the results at a couple of price points and completed the job on budget with no fuss and no mess.
Inspire Electrical did some work in our home this Month, including installation of an extraction fan in an ensuite bathroom, adding a double powerpoint and splitting a light/fan switch. Top job by Brián.
The price we quote is the price you pay.
- 1
We come and look. Under the house, in the roof, at the board. We take photos as we go.
- 2
You get the quote in writing, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
- 3
Once you say yes, the price doesn't move. If we open something up and find a real surprise, we stop, show you, and quote it before we go any further.
Questions
Do I need a switchboard upgrade?
If you still have ceramic fuses, safety switches on only some circuits, or a board that trips when two big appliances run together, it's worth a look. We'll tell you if yours can stay.
Can you add power points to an older house?
Usually, yes. If the board needs work first, the quote says so before anything starts.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, for any work NSW requires to be certified. It's called a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW).
Do you do after-hours work?
Sometimes, for urgent jobs. Call us and we'll tell you if we can.
